So I have not uploaded because im in chicago! Didn't mention anything because this was a surprise for my cousin and she loved it! So I haven't been able to take pictures I just got here and all but tomorrow they're taking me downtown to the city and of course to shop! They know me to well! Zara, H&M, and all! So hopefully I get some cute things that I'll be able to blog about! Love chicago, very amazing city! So here's a few of my fave outfits.

A little print.

All about the print today. I was at San Francisco's Macy's for men(WHICH IS 5 STORIES HIGH!) and I fell in love with it! I spotted this shirt because of the print and loved it! I saw the price tag and loved it even more! I really love the colors and its lightweight perfect for summer. Its definately a standout piece for me. The sleeves when you fold it inside has floral! I love and actually am looking for an all floral shirt for me, haven't quite found the right one yet. Hope you guys like it.

Its about the bag.

FIRST OFF: NO HAIRCUT! :(. Apparently I don't bother to inform myself when the salon closes ha. I thought I had time so no 2 more days with my long hair ! 

Todays outfit I loved for is simplicity. No eye catching colors , no huge prints, just basic solid pieces in an everyday wardrobe. I loved loved the whole color palette , the brick red with brown is something I find good on my skin when its sunny ha. I love infinity scarfs, they just make an outfit so much more interesting and look effortless! I make all my scarves circle scarves! (FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO KNOW, ALL YOU DO IS SEW THE TWO ENDS TOGETHER.) The bag is what I think dominated the outfit, besides the scarf, because its what has a print. I think it looks so vintage and I thrifted it for like $4! Hope you guys like it.

Now today's look is all about the jacket! I wanted to keep it simple so the focus would go on the jacket. It was a gift from my mom on Christmas. I love how she knows what I like and what to get me. She's a momie fashionista at heart, runs in the family ha! The jacket is obviously military inspired and I love! So different and so me! I paired it with a black V-Neck just to keep the focus on the jacket and my two toned oxfords, cause I liked the whole color palette.

Today's look honestly I fell in love with when I finished putting it together.  I remember seeing some coral color pants put with a navy blazer on ASOS, and loved it! I was looking through River Island last week and found these pants for an amazing $18. I had to get! I already had the navy blazer and had found the pants! I continued layering the whole look till I got to this! I thought the polka dot bowtie went perfectly! Overall loved it and hope you guys do too.

Now todays look. This jumper I fell in love with and knew I had to buy it as soon as I saw it. When it arrived at my door steps I loved it even more! I love the print its so interesting!, I used these sort of mustard yellowish jeans that matched the center color of the print! I love this jeans cause I have a feeling i'll be able to play with them a lot. I did my little brown bag cause I was running errands and seem to fit!

Today's look is a little more dressed up. My favorite piece is the cardigan. I just fell in love with the contrast colored pocket on it. It makes it look a little different and expensive.  It was like $59.99 but I got it for a great deal at $20.00! I did my classic little black bow tie that i love! Some jeans, and of course my infamous ASOS satchel that  love.

So this is an outfit i wore today! Which i regret wearing jeans because it was 100 degrees outside! lol anyways! The focus of the outfit is that little leather square! I loved it! I think it made it different which again i love! The shirt is made out of denim which i love as well but no so perfect for summer! I did red jeans, to add a pop of color! This is my Tommy Hilfiger bag which I love and i don't think you guys have seen,  I use to run errands for school and anything i love it! I added a little fedora, to add spice!

In Process.

So I have been kind of busy lately! I try to update daily, but lately I haven't been able to! Finally decided on what fashion school im going to and trying to figure out where i'll live!  You know those things! Ha. Though what keeps me super busy has been my sewing! I will literally spend hours in my dining room which I make "My sewing room" to learn more and create! I usually stay in my PJs sewing so that explains why I haven't posted some of my looks. Any who just wanted to show you some things that i've been working on!

This one is a sweetheart neck which I believe to be super feminine. I think Peplum is something that is going to hit and people will wear! I love it! I did this pleated piece that is part of the top to create that peplum structure. The bottom skirt is a different fabric, you can't really tell, and its this gorgeous faux leather. 

This is again a sweetheart bodice. The difference is I used two fabrics for this top. This turquiose blue and mint green. I loved the two colors together! Very sort of pastel, (Though they have officially been declared "out" beg to differ.) Once I saw the purple sheer fabric I fell in love and knew it had to go with this bodice! I loved the colors and it kind of reminds me of a princess dress? Yet wearable and perfect for summer!

So both garments are almost done, just some hems and zippers to be done. So theres a bit of my work hope you guys like it!

So this "vest" was at first a jacket! I did in impulse purchase at zara a few months ago! Don't all we fashionistas/os don't we?! I got home and I didn't really like it as a jacket anymore! It wasn't convincing me! So I cut the sleeves, another impulse! Once I put it with this stripped jumper it worked! The jumper is so comfortable! I bought it at banana republic. Now, im all about buying cheap clothes that look great, but i will admit when your wallet hurts a bit more things usually fit and feel better, and ITS SO COMFORTABLE! The necklace is a camera to match my bag you've all seen and to express my love for photography!

About the title... a while back me and a friend where shopping in San Francisco and I was attracted to this shirt. I think plaid is super classic for men and I mean what man doesn't like pink? I asked my friend what she thought and she said it reminded her of a picnic table! We laughed about it but I was like whatever, I like it, since when do I stop buying what I like when others don't? So I bought it. Purpose of the story : where what you want, you'll inspire people! I added this bowtie because it just looks so expensive! When in reality I got for like $5 at H&M! Oh what would I do without you H&M?! I think for me, my favorite accessory for men is a bowtie! I love them! The bag you've all seen! I chose these oxfords cause the matched the color of the bowtie!
