High Low.

So this is a trend honestly I couldn't pass up blogging about.  I see it EVERYWHERE, literally. Today I went to do a little shopping you know, to help the craving? If that makes sense ha and honestly I saw it everywhere I walked into. Forever 21, Macys , Dillards , Marshalls .. you name it.  Its not just skirts but blouses as well.  So bottom line I guess..

I choose this particular skirt because its different in the waistband. It has this gorgeous weaving that we love.

I choose this one because of the fabric it was constructed in. The way that fabric drapes makes it so appealing to me.

So today's look is a little more culture inspired. If you didn't know Ana and I are both Hispanic haha. This blouse that we found kind reminded us of our culture. Very warm earthy tones that naturally come from our background. The skirt was this nude color that just fell in place with the top. The skirt is sewed like a two piece with elastic, that you can't really see because of the belt, at the top which creates that little slit. The belt couldn't go more perfect with the color pallet , so we added it. The little "outerwear" is just this waistline vest? you ca call it with short sleeves, 100% lace and it added some little spice to the whole look. We pictured it with and without.

Feminine Vintage

Today's look is a little bit vintage and a little bit feminine.  The dress is all lace and i just love it, it is so vintage to be but so modern at the same time. The dress is very loose fit, and its a small. We belted it with this pink belt to keep it feminine and added a turquoise necklace which helped the shoes pop a lot.

So the title is kind of cheesy , but it was in inspired by today's outfit ha. We decided to call it sort of a sailor look, but I guess you can go by saying its very patriotic as well. We did this red blazer and paired it with this blue skirt. Love the top little pleats on the skirt. We kept the color with the stripped tank. My fave piece from this is the smallest, her earrings! They are red with white polka dots! I just loved them!

Finish Line.

Today's outfit was a little different. Ana was wearing this gorgeous jacket that i loved, and to me surprise thrifted. It has this gorgeous texture, when you feel it and no buttons or zippers, so it kind of reminds me a lot of Chanel , just no tweed here ha. She paired it with this red tank to add color and a super chic black mini denim, with zippers on the side and a touch of lace at the bottom. She had a spurr of the moment and decided to wear my bowtie for this look which I thought completed it.

Here it is , our first graduation picture of Ana and I. CLASS OF 2012 = FIERCE! The ceremony was beautiful and it went smoothly , I shed tears honestly and was bummed cause I couldn't see Ana after the ceremony cause of so many people.

I will be attending FIDM ( Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) in Los Angeles.

Ana will be attending Community College in Sacramento.

Tthe title kind of fits and then doesn't. The word means a little girl look popular in japan, nothing that looks like this. It came to my mind because of us it reminds of us a little girl, with the floral skirt and bow top. Just a little outfit Ana wore and thought we'd show it. and oh oh god, so for both of us

So today's look is just something super chic. This top has been those kinds of tops you just had such a long time ago and were already thinking of what to do with it. We found these pants though that were very interesting! The were black with small brown polka dots, you know how we love that dot trend! The top had small pleats on it super plus. We really had no idea how the pants were going to be worn with, we just loved them. ( Bad decision, try to always have something in mind when you buy something to go with it, saves alot of money, unless you reallly really love it we understand!) But when we through it on with this top it worked! We belted it and added a necklace! The feather earrings are so completely over and such a FAD, but it seemed to work here!

Childhood Fantasy.

Today's post is a kind of what you would call looking back into your closet? Ha. So maybe its due to the face that friday is graduation. We are pretty prepared for the tears, since most of us are moving on and won't see each other much. Yeah and im going to just stop talking before I start tearing writing this haha. The outfit is focused on this tutu skirt we all wore when we were little girls, and we tried to make it where it's whereable today. We did this graphic tee that seemed to flow nine which says "forgive me fashion for i have sinned." which is just a bonus to the tee. We added this metallic vest that gave it a little punk vibe to it.

Today's post is again all about embracing the sheer fabric trend. This is jumpsuit that is pretty on trend if you asks use. It has this adorable sort of salmon color, pink bow on the top and matching color waistband. After the top part of the garment, the sheer just flows down creating the jumpsuit. Tittle so irrelevant , I didn't know what to put and im watching that movie so yeah haha.  Anyway today's outfit is another boyfriend chic look , super laid back. The shirt is actually asymmetrical but we decided to took it in for this look. We just paired it with those normal denim shorts great fro summer with a yellow belt to compliment the orange. We added the fedora which we think is so on trend  and the oxfords we love.

For men we did an outfit that is just the basics in any men's closet. We did this green / olive colored blazer from Macy's at a fabulous price. It looks so expensive and slim fit that we loved! The grey scarf is an infinity scarf we love! They are so versatile you can wear with everything! The t-Shirt actually is great even though you can't see it is a photography a car white and grey to compliment the scarf and it says morning traffic. Which is what we all deal with haha. We did these oxfords two toned which we love , it sorted flowed with the outfit and my camera bag  I always love to have with me ha.

Night of Nights.

PROM!(:

First off so sorry not to be posting regularly, with graduation coming up, finals and all this stuff its hits us in the face just a little bit ha. Today's post is just about PROM! Ha. Prom was just last weekend, and we decided to post what the lovely Ana wore. So she was into the whole ball gown thing and she wanted something fitted but flowly. So she got the best of both worlds. It was very fitted up to and and it flowed out at the bottom. So very mermaid silhouette. I loved it and thought the color was gorgeous! So there's a little taste of our prom, ha.  We loved this whole messy rural background with the whole glamour dress!

Its a girl thing.

Today's look is just again one of those little cute dresses you have in your closet. We particularly loved this one because of the color pallet,  of the little cream and light pink and love that little pop with the green! We added this little white belt to add that little touch. The necklace was a little coral pink owl, if you can't really see. And the wedges we absolutely love! The place is actually downtown where I live and we just loved it so much to take pictures!
